Lord, contentment is so elusive.  We think we are almost there and we suddenly realize it’s not where we thought it would be.  Please help us find contentment. Help us to be clear in who we are and what is important to us.  Help us to get this right so we can not feel the violent storms of our circumstances trying to knock us off balance.  Remind us who we are in every moment so we can experience contentment in the things that will not change even while everything is changing around us.  Amen.
